We didn't chase this. We brewed for it.
For the past years, while our kombucha made its way into cafés, independent retailers, and your fridge, we kept doing the one thing that's mattered since our grandma first taught us this craft in Iran: refine the recipe, respect the fermentation, never cut a corner.
Today, that work got recognised.
KombuHeritage Just Won Another Great Taste Award
The Great Taste Awards are run by the Guild of Fine Food and judged blind so no branding & no backstory. Just chefs, buyers, and food writers tasting product and calling it as they taste it.
Two of our kombuchas made the cut second year in a row.
⭐⭐ Lemon Ginger Ginseng — 2 Stars
Two Stars means outstanding. That's not our word — that's the judges'.
Bright lemon, warming ginger, ginseng doing quiet, serious work underneath. Balanced. Layered. The kind of drink that doesn't need you to be told it's fermented properly — you can taste it.
⭐ Hibiscus Rose Mint — 1 Star
One Star means excellent. Also not our word.
Hibiscus, rose, mint — a combination we built from traditional botanicals and let slow fermentation do the rest. One of the most distinctive things we make, and now it's official.
Why This Actually Matters
Awards are nice. They were never the point.
KombuHeritage exists to bring people back to real fermentation — patience over shortcuts, tradition over trend, a recipe carried from Iran and kept alive for over 50 years because it was worth keeping alive.
Independent judges tasting our kombucha blind and calling it outstanding isn't validation we needed. But it's proof the craft speaks for itself.
