Dr. Herman researched the effect of kombucha or kombucha extract on bladder stones. Phosphate stones were placed in the bladder of a male rabbit. Kombucha was fed to rabbits three to four times a day for several consecutive weeks. The stones gradually became smaller and gradually expelled from the bladder. Before the stones disappeared, the amount of calcium and phosphate in the urine was high in the tests. The Czech scientist discovered that phosphate rock can be dissolved in the laboratory with the help of gluconic acid. He believes that if gluconic acid is consumed for years, it will be absorbed by the body. Free gluconic acid, both chemical and biological, is created during the preparation of kombucha with black or green tea. (Refer to the prostate disorders section)
